Korsnäs’ ambitions span many areas when it comes to contributing to a richer life for employees. As an employer, we are of course keen to work with various types of preventive healthcare. Through foundations and funds we also help promote stimulating and meaningful leisure activities. For example, we support sports activities, non-profit organisations and cultural activities.
Over a period of decades Korsnäs has built up a number of different foundations and funds. Ekmanska stiftelsen (the Ekmanska Foundation) and the Korsnäs Social Fund are familiar to everyone within the company. These allocate grants to employees and their families to cover anything from healthcare costs to vacations.
The Social Fund‘s largest and best known activities are the holiday facilities that are made available to employees. Korsnäs employees now have access to mountain cabins and coastal cottages, as well as apartments in places such as Stockholm, London, Rome, Paris, New York and the Canary Islands. The Social Fund also sponsors theatre performances and art exhibitions, as well as sports and trips to events for staff.
