Systematic work on Corporate Responsibility (CR) forms part of sustainable development. In particular, CR entails being a responsible employer with high ambitions in terms of diversity, equality, working environment and safety.

Korsnäs’ CR work also encompasses the company’s support for young people’s interest in technology and engineering, as well as its commitment to educational issues. Alongside Kinnevik, Korsnäs also encourages good entrepreneurial practices through special activities and invests in areas of social urgency.

An important part of the company’s CR work involves demonstrating responsibility for the area immediately surrounding our mills. Korsnäs wants to help strengthen the communities of Gävle, Frövi and Rockhammar, as well as anywhere else we conduct operations. We want to help make these places attractive to potential new residents and to help our employees lead healthy and rewarding lives.
